A bird bird.

I've always loved birds. My first word was "bird", and my favourite primary school teacher was Mrs. Bird. But aside from those coincidental facts, I've always loved them.  Growing up on the North Shore of Sydney, literally amongst the trees, it was pretty common to be visited by rainbow lorikeets, crimson rosellas, cockatoos, king parrots, kookaburras, and plenty of others. I always loved hearing the kookaburras in the morning, and the sound of all the birds chattering is one of the things I miss most about living in Australia. I absolutely love hearing the birds here, but there's something pretty special about Australian native birds. When I started my little style adventure and decided to add my daily dose of Australiana, birds were always going to feature heavily, but I couldn't have predicted how heavily. Rarely an outfit goes by where I'm not wearing some form of Aussie bird, truthfully, and if there's no birds, there's usually an Aussie flora...
